Frederick was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Doris Hagelstein, his former life partner Lois Hagelstein, and his siblings, Doris, Charlie, and Jimmy.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Kelly Hagelstein, and his loving children, Sandra A. Field (Jeffrey) of Clayton and Frederick S. of Clayton. His granddaughters, Terra Lois Field and Jenna Lynn Febbo (Frank), along with his great-grandchild Frankie Febbo, hold dear memories of their time together.
A Cherished Family
Frederick’s legacy extends through his stepsons, James Kelly and Scott Kelly (Michelle), and his stepgrandchildren, Jami Kelly (Whitney), Anne (Carl), Kiera, Lucy, and Cloe. His step-great-grandchildren, Bailey, Talulah, Jamison, and Lydia, are a testament to the depth of his family bonds. He is also fondly remembered by his surviving siblings, Ginny, Nancy, Bobby, and Betty Jean, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Honoring His Memory
Visitation to pay respects to Frederick Joseph Hagelstein Jr. will be held on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barclay Funeral Home (208 Maple St, Clayton, NJ 08312). A heartfelt funeral service will commence at 11:00 AM, also at the Barclay Funeral Home. Following the service, military honors will be rendered at 12:05 PM at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery (240 N Tuckahoe Rd, Williamstown, NJ 08094).
